EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Xavier is Partner Director of BDO Ecuador, responsible for Operations in charge of the Quito office, with 20 years of experience in conducting financial audits under IFRS, US GAAP, processes audits, local financial statements reporting and reports abroad, business valuations and due diligence. He has extensive experience in banks and financial institutions mainly; also, in manufacturing, commercial, gas and oil companies as well as non-profit entities.
He has prior consulting and business abroad experience at one of the Big 4 firms, and in financial institutions audits with field work abroad in Costa Rica.
He has participated as an instructor of several modules related to the International Financial Reporting Standards implementation, as well as Manager in charge of conversion projects from Local Accounting Standards (NEC) into International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for local and international clients.
